Requirements under Senate Bill 553

The law requires three main actions: creating a workplace violence prevention plan, implementing workplace violence training, and keeping a detailed violent incident log.

The plan must include clear procedures for reporting violence, prohibiting retaliation, effective communication about incidents, hazard identification, post-incident responses, and regular plan reviews.
